Fayron C. Carmichael, Former Amity Resident, passed away last Friday following Heart Attack.
Fayron C. Carmichael, was born July 29, 1896 near Amity, Missouri and passed away in Phoenix, Arizona at 2 a.m. Friday April 12 1946 at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 13 days. He was the son of Benjamin T. and Leona F. Carmichael. He attended McCartney Cross Roads grade school and Amity and Maysville High Schools. He entered St. Joseph Law School in September 1916 but was called to serve his country and entered military service in August 1918. He received his discharge in April 1919. He re-entered Law School graduating in June 1920 and practiced law in St. Joseph, Missouri.
October 1, 1921 he was united in marriage to Jean Barnett. One son, Blair Carmichael, was born to this union. His wife passed away January 29, 1927. In 1935 he went to Dallas, Texas to make his home and was married March 15, 1941 to Mrs. Marguerite Cherie of Dallas, Texas. They made their home in Dallas until December 1945 when they moved to Phoenix, Arizona for his health where he passed away April 12, 1946.
Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Carmichael of Phoenix, Arizona; a son, Blair Carmichael, of St. Joseph, Missouri; his mother, Mrs. Leona Carmichael of St. Joseph, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Clyde Christian of Maysville, Missouri and a brother James P. Carmichael of Omaha, Nebraska. His father preceded him in death February 26, 1928.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at the H.O. Sidenfaden & Son mortuary with Dr. Lacy I. Moffett officiating. Mrs. F. C. Edwards with Mrs. Lawrence Parker at the organ sang "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me" and "Near the Cross." Pallbearers were Edgar Thompson, Ray Warrick, LeRoy and G.G. Griswold. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. -St. Joseph News Press.

Inducted in Maysville, Missouri on August/15/1918. Assigned to RAHE's AUTO & TRACTOR School training detachment to 13/OCT/18; FA to discharge. Grades with date of appointment CPL 12/18.
