SARAH S. BEATY
Sarah S. Beaty was born in Parke county, Indiana, October 15, 1847, and died at her home in Russell, Iowa aged 60 years, 7 months and 22 days.
She was married October 14, 1864 to Edward T. Beaty. To this union were born five children, Nina F., Dora A., Charles Stephen, Thomas D., and Elma M. Of these, four are living, Nina having passed before.
She united with the Predestinarian Baptist church in 1876. With this church were her church affiliations until her death. She was a loyal and true follower of Jesus Christ.
The funeral services were held at the Bethel church north of Russell at 11 a.m. Monday, June 8th, conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton.
