Raymond Stephen Tapp, age 89, our beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away April 30, 1989 at his home of causes inicdent to age.
He was born May 6 1809 in Butler, Utah to John Stephen and Mary Jane Ferguson Tapp.
On September 3, 1931 he married Nettie Lavell Hanson in Bountiful, Utah. She preceded him in death on October 9, 1987.
Raymond was an employee of Kennecott Copper for 32 years, and a member of the LDS church. He served in Coblenz, Germany, with the Army of Occupation after World War I.
Survivors; daughters and sons, Mrs. Clark (Erma) Withers, Mrs. Leonard (Jeannette) Mullins, both South Jordan; Lee, Delta; Delbert and Verl and his wife, Sharon, All midvale, Mrs. John (Donna) Wilkinson, Cottonwood Heights, Mrs. Earl (Marie) McKee, Sandy; 26 grandchildren, Brother, Earl Tapp, Holladay; sisters, Edna Benfell, South Gate, California; Darlene Tapp, Murray, dear friend, Gladys Jenkins, Midvale.
