Born in Tompkinsville,he was the son of Ruth Norris and the late Jess Ralph Deckard. He is survived by his mother and five brothers-Roger Dale,Bobby Joe,Henry Clay,and Calvin Billy Deckard all of Atlanta, Ga.,and Cass Frank Deckard,New York. Four sisters,Jean Copas,Patty and Pamela Jo Smith,both of Red Boiling Springs,TN.,and Betty June Cosby,Sarasota,Fla.
Funeral Services were conducted at Tompkinsville's First Baptist Church,where he was a member,with Bro. Billy Burton officiating.
