Pauline Ulrich, daughter of Jake and Anna Ulrich was born on April 10, 1917 at Fredonia, North Dakota, where she grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to William Peas on September 29, 1927 at Britton, South Dakota. They made their home in Glover, North Dakota for 56 years, before moving to Oakes in August of 1996. Pauline was a cook for the Glover School for many years. She also helped out neighbors when they needed help. Pauline enjoyed baking and taking care of her grandchildren. William died on October 13, 1999. Pauline entered the Good Samaritan Society in April of 2007.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Clarisse) Pease of Wheatland, ND, and Harlen (Pam) Pease of Mina, SD; two brothers, Cyrus and Wilbert (Alvina), all of Ashley, ND; a sister, Hulda of Wyoming; a step-sister, Claudia of Ashley; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, and three sisters.
Funeral: Monday, May 4, 2009, 2:00 p.m., Church of the Nazarene, Oakes
Visitation: Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 at the church.
Burial: Glover Cemetery, Glover, ND.
