Richard B. "Dick" Graw, 83, of Battle Creek passed away Monday, May 4, 2009 at his home. He was born March 26, 1926 in Battle Creek the son of Clifton B. and Vera Olive (White) Graw. He married Ellen Graw on April 20, 1946 in England and she preceded him in death on March 20, 2002. Dick served in the Army during World War II. He worked for Kellogg Cereal Company for 37 years. Dick was a founding member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, active member of the Alcoholics Anonymous. Dick was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club. He enjoyed bowling, carpentry and most of all, his family was very important to him. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ellen Graw, Margaret Ann MacCreery both of Battle Creek; sister, Janet A. Maricic of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Kelly M. (Luis) Torres, Kathleen M. (Brennen) MacCreery-Bowden; grandson, Brian M. (Blair Fuerstenberg) MacCreery; great-grandchildren, Megyn, Nicole, Kyla, Luis Alexander, Kaiden, Conner, Addysen, Grady; great-great-grandchild, N. Kelly. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clifton Graw, Jr. Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with Rev. Fr. James O'Leary officiating. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to American Heart Association or Lifespan-Good Samaritan Hospice Care.
