Winston Earl Bailey passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at the age of 81. He was born on February 18, 1925, to Ernest and Minnie Bailey in Monthalia. Winston is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor I. Bailey; son, Winston Lynn Bailey and two daughters, Lisa and Ronda Bailey; his parents, two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include six children, Patsy Burris, Katherine Bailey, Cecil Bailey, Eddie Bailey and wife June, Linda Adcock and husband Joe, and Penny Bailey; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mable Richter and husband Ben and Glenna Kohli.
Visitation will begin on Friday, February 24, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin. Funeral services will be held at Goetz Funeral Home Chapel in Seguin on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at the Kingsbury Cemetery. Goetz Funeral Home of Seguin is in charge of arrangements.
