Caroline Conley, 91, of U.S. 23, Piketon, passed away 11:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 28 at Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon. She was born January 23, 1911 in Kentucky, daughter of the late James B. and Elizabeth (Conley) Hall. Caroline retired in 1976 as owner/operator of Pleasant Hill Nursing Home at Sargents, Ohio, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Piketon. She is survived by one son, Donald (Dorothy) Conley of Hillsboro; two grandsons, Gary and Gene Conley; two Great-granddaughters, Jennifer and Ashley Conley; and one brother, Lee (Una) Hall of Piketon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce Conley, who passed away September 29, 1974; six brothers, James, Jack, Charlie, Preston, Dave and Arcus Hall; five sisters, Ruie Cutlip, Birdie Conley, Ruby Fuller Leadford, Josephine Pendleton and Ollie Miller; and a grandson Tracey Conely. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 1 at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home, in Piketon, with Elder Bruce Gullett officiating. Burial followed at Mound Cemetery, in Piketon.
