Mike was a font of Colemanballs-style gaffes and misstatements. His friends put them together intwo two collections: Everything Always Never Comes Out Right and Mike Strokes Again. This sketch illustrates one of them.

Mike on his 42nd birthday, enjoying his birthday cake - this one with sheep on top in a "five-dakini" arrangement (1992).
He had recently recorded a famous - or infamous - "ambient" track that involved sheep baa-ing back and forth from one speaker to another, so this cake was our tribute to his creativity. Mike loved it!
