Harold G. Crill, Dec 7, 1917 - Sept. 21, 1998, Harold George CRILL, 78, 764 W. 18th St., Rochester, died 3:16 a.m., today at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester. Born to Oscar and Cora STOCKER CRILL, he married Mae Van DUYNE on Aug. 14, 1948 at Logansport. She died Sept. 11, 1998. Mr. Crill was a retired truck driver. He drove for D&D oil, Rochester and Hayes Freightlines, Logansport. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Rochester, American Legion Post 36, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1343 , and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 852. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Marie and husband Charles DILL, Rochester; one grandson, Stephen DILL, Rochester; two sisters, Martha and husband Paul EBER, Rochester and Mabel SULLIVAN, Twelve Mile; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Paul [CRILL], Wayne [CRILL] and Loyd CRILL. Services are at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester with Rev. Chris DODSON officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Southeast of Rochester. The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct a military graveside service. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday or one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
