She was a member of North Williford Baptist Church of Dorris Heights, where she served as church clerk for 25 years. She also served as church pianist. She was born June 10, 1907 in Williamson County to Otis Milo & Sarah Isabell (Tanner) Turner. She married Emery Ray Garrison Dec. 25, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband Emery Ray, Nov. 25, 1982, son Donald Ray Garrison of Waukegan, Il.July 8, 1981. Granddaughter, Judith Ann Garrison 1957, great-grandson David Philip Lamar 1972. . Services will be at 1:00 pm Sunday Sept. 19, at Gaskins Furneral Home, with Dr. Bill Tomberlin officiating. Burial will be in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery in Williamson County, Il. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Sat. at the funeral home.
