Phyllis G. (Albarano) Martynuska, 86, Lilly, went to her eternal rest Thursday at Maple Winds Care Center.

She was born in Lilly, daughter of the late Felix and Consiglia (Esposito) Albarano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine Martynuska; brothers: Crist, Ralph, Dominic, Samuel Sr. and Joseph; sisters: Raphael, Frances, Myrtle Averi, Rose Albarano, Teresa Dregier, Cecelia Leahey and Mary Albarano; nephews: David and John Houck, Doughlas Kaufman and George Carr; a niece, Rose Marie Albarano; sisters-in-law: Mary (McCloskey) Albarano, Mary (Render) Albarano, Serena Albarano, Dorothy Graham and Patty Oravecz; brothers-in-law: Edmund Frasca, Emmett Averi, Leo Dregier, Arthur D. Martynuska, Ray Sanders, Francis Nazit and Ron Martynuska.

She was the devoted and loving mother of Helen Marie and husband, Curtis Glynn, in Texas, Consiglia Albarano of Lilly and Mary Jo and husband, Donald Butch, of Lilly; grandchildren: Valerie Marie and husband, Devin Zakarevicz, Michael Glynn, Jude, Victoria and Katelyn Butch; great-grandchildren: Brian, Rachel and Nicholas Zakarevicz; a sister, Lucinda Frasca in Virginia; sisters-in-law: Anna Marie Sanders, Carmie Martynuska, Alice Martynuska, Marion Albarano and Frances Albarano; brothers-in-law: Fred Martynuska and Harold Leahey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis owned and operated Vals Clothing Store in Lilly for 50 years. She was a member of Our Lady of The Alleghenies Catholic Church, Lilly, and a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and playing pinochle and bingo.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly, where a vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday afternoon. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Catholic Church, Lilly, Monsignor John R. Sasway, VF, celebrant. Committal at St. Brigid's Cemetery, Lilly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Home Nursing Hospice, Ebensburg, 118 Ebony Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931; or the Lilly Volunteer Fire Company.
