Obituary Cecelia L. "Tootsie" Leahey

Mrs. Cecelia L. "Tootsie" Leahey, 72, 1304 Allegheny St., Hollidaysburg, died Monday evening, Feb. 10, 2003 at Altoona Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 2, 1930 in Lilly, a daughter of Felix and Consiglia (Esposito) Albarano. She married Harold E. Leahey May 30, 1953 at St. Brigid's Catholic Church, Lilly.

Mrs. Leahey was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.

She had been employed as a bookkeeper at Hollidaysburg Auto Parts.

Mrs. Leahey was a 1948 graduate of Lilly High School.

She lived for her grandchildren, loved ceramics, crossword puzzles, pinochle, walking and knitting.
Mrs. Leahey was a member of Italian Sons & Daughters of America and AARP.

Surviving are her husband; two sons: Brady and wife, Jodie, and Harold and girlfriend, Ellen Robinson, all of Hollidaysburg; three daughters: Marcella Wolfe and husband, George, of Harrisburg, Cecelia at home and Cindy Storm and husband, Chris, of Hollidaysburg; 10 grandchildren: Kristin, Nick and Janel Wolfe, Sarah and Rachael Leahey, Christopher, Courtney and Cory Storm, also Ellen's children: Jamie and Ben Robinson; and three sisters: Linda Frasca of Windber and Phyllis Martynuska and Mary Albarano, both of Lilly.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, by Father John J. Palko. Committal at New Saint Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at PLANK, STITT AND STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, where a vigil for the deceased will be held Thursday (www.pssfh.com).
The family requests that donations be made to Blair County Unit of the American Cancer Society in memory of Cecelia.
