Wayne Beckstead Morgan, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, was taken from us suddenly October 23, 1990.

Born in Murray, Utah to Elmo Rueben and Eva Beckstead Morgan. Married Marjorie Whittenbach; later divorced. Married Beth N. Mackay in the LDS Temple. Captain of the Murray High and Westminster football teams. Veteran World War II, serving in U.S. Army. Member of Utah Arabian Horse Club. Retired supervisor from Utah Power & Light. Avid hunter and fisherman. Member LDS Church, presently serving as First Counselor in the High Priest Quorum, Draper First Ward. Had a great love for his horses and outdoors. His greatest love was his family.

Survived by his wife; children, Mrs. Frankie (Sharon) Rino, Mrs. Craig (Midge) Kammerath, Mrs. Ernie (Waynette) Willits, Wayne Morgan; stepsons, K. Wayde Mackay and his wife, Gina, L. Keith Mackay and his wife, Becky; stepdaughter, Mrs. John (Melody) Robertson; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elmo, Dee and Dale Morgan, Mrs. Evelyn Allen, Leah Morgan. Preceded in death by grandson, Travis McDermaid.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., Draper First Ward, 400 East 13540 South. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m., Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Saturday at the church, one hour prior to service. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
