HERTHA BAUER

Mrs. Hertha Bauer, 70, a resident of Kiel for the past 30 years passed away Thursday evening at St. Nicholas hospital following a short illness.

Born in Kiel on June 21, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schroeder, she spent her early life in Kiel and then went to Chicago where she was married to Leo Bauer. For the past 30 years she made her home in Kiel.

Survivors are a brother, Berthold, of Chicago; two nephews and a niece.Mrs. Bauer was a member of the Christian Mothers' society and the Germania lodge.
