Carl A Ahlborg Dies at Hospital
Carl A Ahlborg, 80, 2309 Mayland Ave., died at a local hospital Wednesday evening. He was the retired founder and president of the former Union Sash and Door Co. of Superior.
Born in Skara, Sweden Sept 22, 1876, he had resided in Superior about 36 years. He was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and an honorary member of its Men's Brotherhood. He was a member of the Independent Order of Vikings of Aurora, IL.
Surviving are three sons, C. Raymond, Edmond A., and John G., Superior; a daughter, Mrs E. E. (Helen) Wilkowski, Great Falls, Mont.; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Saturday afternoon at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with Thompson Funeral Home in charge.
