Funeral services for Mrs. Neoma Leona Parham, age 74, of Honey Grove, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 1999 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Honey Grove. Rev. Ralph Howell will officiate. Burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Parham passed away January 10, 1999 at McCuistion Medical Center in Paris, Texas.
Mrs. Parham was born January 3, 1925, the daughter of Clarence Nathan Bowie and Mattie Estell Hulse.
She married Milburn Parham on February 23, 1965 in Trenton, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1996.
Mrs. Parham was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Honey Grove.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Sparks of Orlando, Florida, and James Sparks of Spokane, Washington; one daughter, Joyce Mathis of Dallas; two brothers, Joe Bowie of Honey Grove, and Eiland Bowie of Bonham; one sister, Clara Estelle Loge of Arkansas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Doyle, Don Roberts, Kenneth Billings, Bill Stephens, Bobby Joyce and Billy Burnsed.
