MRS.BUSHEY DIES AT 81 ON WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Anna V. Bushey, 81, wife of J Blaine "Bushed, Biglerville R. 2, died at 4:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at her home. She had been in her usual health until Wednesday when she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was a native of Adams County and was one of 13 children of the late Jacob and Eliza (Lady) Deardorff She and Mr. Bushed had been married for 60 years.
Mrs. Bushey was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arendtsville and for many years had taught a Sunday School class there. She had attended the Franklin Twp. schools and was graduated from the Shippensburg State Normal School in 1904. She had taught school in Adams County for two years.
Surviving are her husband and these children: Mildred C., at home; Norman F., Milton, Del.: John L., at home; Blaine D. and Warren C. Bushey, both of Biglerville E 2, and. J. Charles Bushey, Arendtsville. These brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Alice Hershey, Gettysburg R. 3; Mrs. Waiter Lott, Atlanta, Ga.; Gilbert Deardorff Trenton, N.J.; Clarence Deardorff Cashtown; Mrs. Isabelle Watson, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Homer Shaw, New Kingston, Pa.; Mrs. Philip Bower, Cashtown, and Mrs Lolita Charles, Cashtown. There are 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bender Funeral Home on Carlisle St. with the Rev. Dr. Dwight F. Putman officiating.
Interment will be made in Greenmount Cemetery at Arendtsville.
The family has asked that flowers be omitted. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis fund. There will not be a viewing but friends may call at the funeral home from 1pm. Saturday until the hour of the services.
