Thelma Feragen Core Ayers Benson, age 58, passed away on March 12, 1990 of natural causes.


Born February 11, 1932 in Salt Lake City to Leif K. and Lilly K. Strom Feragen. Married Charles G. Core in 1953; he passed away.


Married Walter L. Ayers in 1968; later divorced. Married James Benson in 1987. Thelma's greatest joy in life was her daughter, Christie, son-in-law Bob and her three grandchildren, Amber, Andree and Tyler. She was a loving and giving person to her family and friends. She touched many lives and will be forever missed.


Survived by husband, daughter, Christie and husband Robert G. Monsen, West Valley City; three grandchildren, Amber Day, Andree Dawn, Tyler Austin; mother; brothers and sister, Roy, Leonard, Leif, Gordy, Carol Stephens, and Clint; preceded in death by a brother, Ronald.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, where friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
