Ralph Hartman Beamer, 66, died Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at his home. Biglerville R. 2. near the South Mountain Fairgrounds, from cancer after an illness of about two years.
He was a Menallen Twp. farmer and fruit grower and had moved from his farm to his late residence in 1944.
A native of Menallen Twp., Mr. Beamer was a son of the late Noah R. and Annie C. (Miller) Beamer.
He was a member of the Cooperative Fruitgrowers Association of Aspers and was well known among fruitgrowers in this county for many years.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Arendtsville, the Moose Lodge of Gettysburg, the Home Association of Hanover and the ArendtMillr Fire Company.
His wife is the former Ella Thomas.
Also surviving; is a son. Norman, Biglerville R. 2: a brother. Blaine O. Beamer, York Springs R. D.. and a sister. Mrs. Philip Hanzell Arendtsville, and two grandchildren
Funeral services from the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St. Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with his pastor, the Rev. Robert Schiebel, officiating.
Interment tn the Greenmount Cemetery at Arendtsville.
Friends may call Monday from 1 to 9 pm, at the funeral home.
