Mrs. Cora Alice Hartman, 62, wife of William N. Hartman, a director of the poor of Adams County, died Sunday morning at 4:15 o'clock at her Menallen Township home. A complication of diseases caused death after an illness of 2 years. She had been confined to bed for the last 20 months. Mrs. Hartman was born in Arendtsville, & was a daughter of the late Noah R. & Annie (Miller) Beamer of Adams County. She & Mr. Hartman had been married 42 years.
The deceased was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Arendtsville. Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Lola M. Hartman of Arendtsville; Allen B. Hartman of Mummasburg; Mrs. Lester Murtoff of Gardners; J. Blaine Hartman of Biglerville RD; & Clark N. Hartman at home; & 7 grandchildren.
These brothers & sisters also survive:Mrs. Philip Hartzel of Biglerville RD; Luther Beamer & Blaine Beamer of York Springs; & Ralph Beamer of Biglerville.
Funeral services from the Hartman home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. George H. Berkheimer, pastor of the deceased, officiating. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery at Arendtsville.
