Our loving mother, grandmother, and friend, JoAnn Birkinshaw Lewis, age 58, passed away on March 6, 1990 in Texas.
JoAnn was born June 11, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William C. and Ruth Elizabeth Bailey Birkinshaw.
She married LaMar Glen Lewis on September 21, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later divorced.
Moved to Dallas, Texas in 1981. Employed most of her life with the Cooper Industry. Member and past president of the National Secretary Association. We love you and we'll miss you.
Survived by her son, Lane (wife, Gayla Len) Lewis, two grandchildren, Daniel Ty-Lane and Brandy Jo, all of Rowlett, Texas; brother, Mont (wife Pat) Birkinshaw, Salt Lake; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 9, 1990 at 1 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (enter at 1750 East 3300 South then turn right to Mountain View Section). Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East.
