NELSON J. RAESLER
Nelson J. Raesler, 67, of Lorain, died Friday afternoon in St. Joseph Hosptial after a brief illness.
Born in Amherst, Mr. Raesler, had lived in Lorain for the past 34 years.
Mrs. Raesler had served with the U. S. Army in Pacific Ocean operations during World War II, and had worked for the Nordson Corp. of Amherst for 42 years, retiring from the personnel department in 1979.
He was a member of Nordson Corp. Management Club, the Nordson Old Timers Club, and Holy Trinity Church, Lorain.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Mary A. (nee Salata) and a brother, Harold R., of Lorain. Mr. Raesler was preceded in death by an infant son, and a brother, Earl, who died in 1979.
Friends will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the John J. Gluvna Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
Services will be conducted Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel, followed by a 10 a.m. mass in Holy Trinity Church with the pastor, the Rev. Leonard Basic, officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
