Albin Luokkala, 58, of White City, OR, died October 23 in Roseburg. He was born March 30, 1912 in Colquett, MN, was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Apostolic Lutheran Church. Survivors include eight sisters, Mrs. Hannah Horner, Mrs. Elsie Herold, and Mrs. Dorothy Gauthier, all of Longview Mrs. Lillian Berry of Castle Rock, Mrs. Pearl Sundvick of Ridgefield, Mrs. Ruth Williams of Milwaukie, OR, Mrs Ester Loyear of Fresno, CA and Mrs. Margie Price of Lancaster, CA; three brothers, Oscar of Vancouver, Dale and Walter both of Longview. Services will be held at 2 PM at the Steele Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles J, Dion officiating. Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.

Albin was a finish carpenter. He came out to Portland after the War. He never married and was living in a Veterans home in White City, OR.
