William Horace "Billy" Jones was a WWII veteran and retired from the Navy and Naval Reserve after 25 years as a chief Petty Officer. He then moved back to Waco, Texas, and was manager of Mayflower Moving and Storage, and later claims manager for Central Freight Lines In Waco. Upon retiring from Central Freight Lines, he moved to Wichita Falls in 1987. He was a charter member of Colonial Baptist Church, a Deacon, and a faithful member from the church's inception. His favorite scripture was the 23rd Psalm. William Horace Jones (Papa), married Viola Faye Smith on July 19, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Viola Faye Jones; daughter, Carolyn Faye Sullivan and her husband Dwayne Sullivan of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren, Steven Sullivan of Pittsburg, Texas, Ronnie Sullivan of Plantation, Florida, and Kimberly Bowmer of Mesquite, Texas; and five great grandchildren, Elton Sullivan and Conor Sullivan, Larry Sullivan, Cristopher Bowmer, and Ashley Bowmer.
