DIES OF INJURIES
Victim of Automibile Accident on July 20 (1941)
Mrs. Nina North, age 32, of 1304 Illinois St., died at 3:30 p.m. yesterday (July 29, 1941)at St. Anthony's hospital, Michigan City, (Indiana) of injuries suffered in an automobile accident July 20, near New Buffalo. Mrs. North had been in a semi-conscious condition for more than a week.
The daughter of James A. Drinen and Marie Schlaefli, she was born in Monument, Kansas, on Aug 6, 1908, and lived here most of her life. She was employed in the Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing company office.
She was married Feb. 18, 1932, in Cleveland, OH., to Raymond North, who died July 9, 1936.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church.
Surviving are her parents, two sons, James North and John North at home; two sister, Mrs. Vona Held, Freeport, Long Island, N.Y. And Mrs. Irma Christie, LaPorte, father-in-law and mother-in-law. Mr. & Mrs. Charles L. North Bellevue, OH., and a sister-in-law, Eileen North, Cleveland OH.
Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church Friday, with the Rev. Father A. C. Van Rie officiating. The body may be viewed at the Ebert and Giese funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
