"John Curry and wife mourn the death of their youngest babe, which occurred this noon. The little one has been sick for two days and this morning developed symptoms which portended its death. The parents have the sympathy of the community." END
∼Audubon Newspaper clipping, dated Oct.26, 1899, reported the death of Baby Harold Hallock Curry, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Curry of Atlantic, IA. The funeral was at the Hallock home in Oakfield, by Rev. Wissler of the Congregational church of Exira, IA. the infant was buried in the Oakfield Cemetery.
