Mary Lee Hobbs, 82, of Big Spring, died on Friday, January 20, 2006, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Sil Moore, of Lubbock officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born on January 7, 1924, in Murchison, Texas and married Roy Hobbs on March 9, 1942 in Tyler, Texas.

Mrs. Hobbs was a longtime resident of Big Spring.

She was an avid camper and belonged to the Western Drifters and the Triple L (Live longer and love it).

She enjoyed quilting and had been quilting since she was a young girl.

She was a member of Baptist Temple Church and especially enjoyed her Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Hobbs of Big Spring; two daughters, Royce June Underwood of Andrews and Paula Ann Stiles of Stanton; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, six brothers and four sisters..

The family suggests memorials to: Circle Six Baptist Encampment, 2784 Hwy 137, Stanton, Texas 79782 or to Odyssey Hospice, 1003 E. FM 700, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
