We honor the life of Homer E. Wade, age 69, beloved husband, father and grandfather, whose children and grandchildren were the special light of his life. He died on March 1, 1990 in West Valley City.


Born October 3, 1920 in Lehi, a son of Charles Ezra and Minerva Allred Wade.


Married Margaret Webb on November 19, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.


Member of the LDS Church, where he served in the Bishopric and later as Bishop and High Councilman. Also served a mission to the New England States. Served 40 years with F.H.A. as an inspector. Veteran of World War II.


Survived by wife, three daughters, three sons, Mrs. Terry V. (Deanna) Coon, West Valley; Mrs. Theron ''Joe'' (Linda) Debs, Kearns; Mrs. Mark (JoAnne) Healey, Logan; David C. Wade, J. Monty Wade, Robert C. and wife Debbie Wade, all of West Valley City; 10 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, James Wade, Walla Walla, Wash.; Chick Wade, Kate Wade, both Salt Lake; Mrs. John D. (Helen) Sheffield, California.


Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Granger Twelfth Ward Chapel, 3751 South 2200 West. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and on Wednesday at the Church one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
