Mr. Arthur Manci, a life long resident of Daphne, died on Thursday, November 13, 1986 in a local hospital. Mr. Manci was Mayor of Daphne for 17 years, and retired as Director of First National Bank of Baldwin County.
He is survived by his wife, Avis M. Manci; two sons, Joseph A. Manci and William Alexander Manci; three daughters, Sue Manci Pelfrey, Jeanette M. Torbert and Dr. Elizabeth Manci, all of Daphne; three step sisters, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, November 15, 1986 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Hugh Maguire as celebrant. Interment was in Belforest Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were by Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope Chapel.
