Miss Hightower Of Cameron Dies; Services Sunday
CAMERON (SPL) - Miss Effie Hightower, 87, of Cameron died Friday afternoon in a Cameron hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Greene's Funeral Home in Cameron. Rev. J. E. Lafferty will officiate, with burial in Walker's Creek Cemetery near Cameron.
Miss Hightower was a native of Alabama, and lived in Milam County most of her life.
Survivors are four brothers, O. L. Hightower of Cameron, C. M. Hightower of Freeport, D. H. Freeport of Bryan and W. F. Hightower of Houston; and four sisters, Mrs. D. N. Angell, Mrs. Stella McCall and Mrs. Cage Kennon, all of Cameron, and Mrs. Eva Simonds of Houston.
