Mrs. Norris died at her home on Fulton street, this city, on Friday after a long and very painful illness. She had been ill for many months and had been gradually failing in health and death came as a welcome relief. Some months ago she suffered from a apoplectic stroke and had never been well since. Mrs. Norris was born on March 13, 1832, in West Virginia, and was married on May 27, 1854, to William H. Norris at Coshocton, Ohio. To them twelve children were born, nine of whom died in infancy, one son, Frank, died when twenty years of age. Two children survive, Sarah Elizabeth and Ellsworth. Mr. Norris died in Le Mars April 23, 1900. The family came to Le Mars on July 16, 1880, and have lived here since. She has a number of relatives residing in Ohio and New York.
