THOMAS J. FITCHETT
Mr. Thomas J. Fitchett, a Confederate Veteran, 85 years of age, died at his home near Port Haywood, early Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's M. E. Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and were conducted by his pastor, Rev. E. E. Henley. Interment was in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Mr. Fitchett is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Fitchett, one son, Geo. W. Fitchett, one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Pugh; three sisters, Miss Lizzie Fitchett, Mrs. Geo. VanSickten and Mrs. Geo. L. Hudgins, and one brother, Captain Sidney Fitchett, of Norfolk.
