Barbara Dyches Williams died Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Funeral services for Barbara, 75, of Springfield, will be held 2 p.m., Friday, April 17, at Dean Swamp Baptist Church with burial in the Williams Family Cemetery, Springfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston.
Born in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the late Fred Andrew Dyches and Rosa Sanders Dyches. Barbara was a member of Dean Swamp Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters, Cyndi (Eddie) Reed, Julie (James Ray) Gartman both of Springfield; sons, Robert D. (Patty) Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., Charles Russell Williams of Aiken; sisters, Miss Anne M. Dyches of Columbia, sister-in-law, Sybil Dyches of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren and one great-grandchild.
