-Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 1 at New Beginning Baptist Church in Rathdrum, ID. Burial to follow at Pinegrove Cemetery, Rathdrum.
-Diane P. Adams, 61, Rathdrum, died Sept. 25, 2005, at Kootenai Medical Center, Coeur d'Alene.
-She was born June 18, 1944, in Southgate, Calif., to Julia Kieffer, of California, and Fenton Pruitt, of Georgia. On April 25, 1964, Diane married Johnny Adams in Norwalk, Calif. They came to North Idaho from California in 1976.
-Diane was in the accounts payable department at North American Aviation, which was under contract with NASA. She then drove the school bus 18 years for Lakeland School District and the last three years for Post Falls Christian Academy.
-A member of New Beginning Baptist Church in Rathdrum, Diane sang in a number of choirs.
-Survivors include her husband, Johnny in Rathdrum; son Ted Adams, Spirit Lake; daughter Jonni Adams, Rathdrum; grandson Shane Maland, and brother Bruce Pruitt, both of Rathdrum.
-Diane was predeceased by her sister, Julie Ann.
-A memorial benefit for Diane will be 3 p.m. Oct. 8 at One Eye's in Rathdrum.
