Services for Alexander "Sandy" Brown, 87 of Melba, who died Tuesday, March 19 in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Melba Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Bishop Conrad Zeyer of the ward officiating. Interment with military rites by the Melba American Legion Divin-Slonecker Post 126 will follow in the Melba Cemetery. Services and interment and under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mr. Brown was born on Dec. 12, 1897, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, where he was reared and educated. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
