Mrs. Lauretta Pritchett, aged 88 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Harrison, of Port Haywood, Tuesday morning, Dec. the 12th. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. A. Harrison, of Port Haywood; Mrs. Geo. A. Dow, of Baltimore, MD.; Mrs. L. C. Armistead, of Shadow; two sons, Geo. E. Pritchett, of Motorun, and John E. Pritchett, of Peary; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Diggs, of Port Haywood; Mrs. Lessie Owens, of Peary; a brother, Charles Owens, of Peary. Mrs. Pritchett was a faithful member of St. Matthews M. E. Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's M. E. Church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Fletcher Osbourne, assited by Rev. Mr. Boyd. Interment was made in St. Paul's Cemetery. The active pallbearers were Bud Dow, Malvern Diggs, Ernest Harrison, Stanley Pritchett, Clifford Pritchett, and Aubrey Powell. Honorary: William Armistead, Malcolm Owens, Luther Thomas, Luther Singleton, Edgar Adams, and Freeman Pugh.
