"The Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum is located on the grounds of the Lancaster County Historical Society and captures the beauty of each season. Louise Tanger, a local botanist and trustee of the historical society, undertook the planning and development of the grounds in 1956 when the original building was constructed. It is now maintained and developed by the Friends of the Tanger Arboretum. Sporting 104 varieties of mature trees."
