Joseph was born on May 18, 1924 in Whitley Arkansas to parents Joseph and Liza (Perkins) Crisler. Joseph was a hard working man who began working at a very young age.
He served in the United States Army from 1943-1946, during WWII. On March 5, 1955 Joseph married his loving wife Romena in Del Hi Oklahoma. Joseph enjoyed working on cars and spending his time out on the waters fishing.
Joseph is survived his children; Beverly Childers and husband Ron, Bobby Crisler, Melissa Waters and husband Bill, Kimberly Grant and husband Terry, and John Crisler and wife Tina. He is also survived by his 16 loving grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by; his parents, Joseph and Liza, his loving wife, Romena in 2003, sister Goldie Williams, and his granddaughter, Brandy Grant.
Visitation for Joseph will be held on May 20, 2008 from 2-8pm at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary-Lamont. A graveside service will be held at 10am on May 21, 2008 at South Kern Cemetery District in Arvin.
