Maria Brane, wife of Daniel Brane, died October 22nd, 1872, in Wabash Co., Ind, aged 50 years and 11 months. At about the age of twenty-three years she was converted, and from that time until her death she led a pious and exemplary Christian life. She was ever frank and strictly honest, without the least semblance of deception. During her protracted afflictions I, in my visits, found her ready and waiting. It is hard to give her up as a companion, mother, and friend, but, ho! how gloriously delightful is the thought that we shall meet her again. She leaves a husband, children, and other relatives, who are now mourning her absence. L.W. Matthews
