LaCOSTE Mrs. Edna "Gladine" LaCoste went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2008. She was a resident of Twelve Mile, IN, and former resident of Daphne, AL and also of Mobile, AL for the past two years. Her husband, George LaCoste, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Cummins (Tom); children: Cherie Lott (Quitman), Nancy Blish, Deanna Sellers, Thomas Louthain (Denise), Penny Parmeter (Mark), and Tami Wooten; beloved friend Roland Rush and her beloved caregiver, Daphne Gibson; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bruce Russell officiating. Survivors include six children, Cherie Lott of Bay Minette, Nancy Blish, Deanna Sellers and Tami Wooten, all of Mobile, Thomas Louthain of Dothan and Penny Parmeter of Logansport, Ind.; one sister, Phyllis Cummins of Logansport; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is set for today from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
