He was born Nov. 3, 1917 in Toquerville, Washington County, to Franklin P. and Edna Lamb Bringhurst. He married Mary Lamborne on Nov. 20, 1938. The marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Aug. 18, 1961. He married Marjorie Barlow on Sept. 18, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was a property supervisor at Tooele Army Depot and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his widow, two sons and one daughter, Richard L. Bringhurst, Paul K. Bringhurst and Mrs. Gary (Laurie) Price, all of Salt Lake City; two stepsons and one stepdaughter, Lee McAffee, Dennis McAffee and Louise McAffee, all of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; his mother, Salt Lake City; three brothers and two sisters, Jack Bringhurst, Bountiful; Don Bringhurst, American Fork; Robert Bringhurst, Roy; Maurine Bringhurst, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Bill (Lula) Goodfellow, Las Vegas, Nev.
Friends may call tonight (June 30, 1975) from 6 to 8 o'clock at 36 E. 700 S., Salt Lake City, and at the chapel Tuesday one hour before service. Burial will be in Elysian Burial Gardens.
