Barbara Gale (Weyant) Hahn, 63, Alum Bank, passed away Friday at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born in Reynoldsdale, daughter of the late Raymond C. Sr. and Twyla (Ellis) Weyant. She was the wife of the late William P. Hahn, whom she married Jan. 29, 1966. Surviving are two daughters: Trinette K., wife of John Henderson, of Schellsburg and Yvette G., wife of Larry Sell, of Claysburg; a granddaughter, Jana Kaye Drenning; four brothers: Roland E. Weyant of Fishertown, Dale E., husband of Teresa Weyant, of Bedford, Ray C. Weyant Jr. of Bedford and Carl S., husband of Susan Weyant, of Reynoldsdale; a sister, Doris W. Michelsen of Newville, Pa.; and a special friend, William C. Hengst. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Colette Rae Hahn; an infant son; and two brothers: Curtis B. and Robert L. Weyant. Barbara was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Alum Bank and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Bedford American Legion Post 113. She worked as a counselor/advocate at Your Safe Haven Inc. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, at J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Alum Bank, and 10 to the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at St. James Lutheran Church, Alum Bank, with Pastor Donna Wolfinger and Pastor Michael VanDyke officiating. Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
