Roland Ellis Weyant, 86, of Fishertown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on April 28, 1931, in Reynoldsdale, son of Raymond Clarence and Twyla Katherine (Ellis) Weyant.
He is preceded in death by his parents; also spouse Erma Ruthe (McCreary) Weyant; former spouse, Viola Manges; brother Curtis Weyant; brother Robert (Muss) Weyant; and sister Barbara Hahn.
Roland is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beloved father and friend who enjoyed his time with all. His gift of wit and humor was shared with everyone he met. No one was a stranger. He was an avid fisherman, sportsman, and a great turkey hunter and caller. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were a great source of pride and pleasure for him. “There will never be another Rollie”.
