5 Jan 1900: It is with much regret that we chronicle the death of Mrs. Amelia, wife of Cyrus L. Behney (nee Bordner), of West Myerstown, who died suddenly Thursday noon. Deceased had contract a cold, but it was not considered of a serious nature until Thursday morning, when a decided change was noticed and she rapidly grew worse until she expired at noon. She had been suffering with heart trouble for some time, which is supposed to have hastened her death. Her husband, one daughter, Mrs. George D. Coover, of town, and one son, Calvin, survive, as do also these brothers and one sister, William Bordner, of West Myerstown; Adam Bordner, of near Millersburg; I. J. H. Bordner, of Mt. Aetna; P. W. H. Bordner, of town; Edward Bordner, of Washington, Kansas, and Mrs. Jacob Brown, of Mt. Aetna. Funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon. Services in the Reformed church, Rev, J, Lewis Fluck will officiate. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Undertaker Adam Bahney will have charge. [Lebanon Daily News]
