Clarissa Leona Goltry, born on April 30, 1893, in New York. Leona, as she was known, was the daugher of Eddie LeRoy & Laura (Sebring) Goltry. When she met Albert Kugler she was an assistant rural mail carrier. They married on Nov 30, 1916, in Petoskey, MI, by W.H. Hedges, a minister, and soon after moved to Pontiac, MI. The eventually settled at 40 S Roselawn St in Pontiac, and lived their until their deaths. Their children were Bernice, Eleanor, Stanley, Dorothy, Ernest and Harold Keith. Leona was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, The Reame Chapter of the Old ES, The Pontiac White Shrine and was Past Noble Grand of the Rebecca Lodge. Leona died on November 5, 1983, in Pontiac.
