She was born and grew up in Kansas. She taught school for a year, then moved to North Central Washington in 1937. She lived at Holden, then moved to Chelan, where she worked for the Chelan School District lunch program from 1949 to 1970.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Bigelow of Chelan, Theresa Shipman of Port Orchard and Sharon Bokor of Deer Park; and a son, Bernie Trainer of Prosser.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church, the Rev. Richard Wuertz celebrant. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at the Wenatchee City Cemetery.
