The sudden death of Mr. Edwin Broun, which occurred at his house in Irvington, has cast at the deepest gloom over this, his old home section. He was born and reared at beautiful Easton, the home of his parents, the late Judge Edwin Broun and his wife. A few years ago he moved to Irvington and spent the closing years of his life amongst a host of friends. He was a cultured gentleman of the truest Virginia type; Kind and courteous to everyone. He was a devoted husband, father, and brother, all of whom will sadly miss him. His remains were laid to rest last Sunday afternoon in the beautiful cemetery at Easton in the presence of an immense concourse of relatives and friends; services were conducted by Rev. L. R. Combs and Rev. S. A. Donohue.
