Obituary: Lois Eileen Rabitoy, 79 of Rogue River died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at her home. No services are planned. Southern Oregon Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to Lovejoy Hospice, 939 S.E. Eight Street, Grants Pass, OR 97526. Rabitoy was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Minneapolis to Charles and Jessie Coombs. On June 15, 1946, in Tijuana, Mexico, she married Vernon Joseph Rabitoy, who died before her. In 1985, she moved to Rogue River from Reseda, Calif. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, portrait painting, Landscape painting and crafts. Survivors include five children, Dennis Rabitoy of Sylmar, Calif., Robert and Teresa Rabitoy, both of Rogue River, Daniel Rabitoy of Reseda, Calif., and Timothy Rabitoy of Lake Hughes, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, William J. Rabitoy, died before her.
