Prominent Young Henry County Woman Died At Her Home Near Irisburg. Martinsville, Va., Aug. 30. Special.
Mrs. Edward G. Eggleton died at her home near Irisburg yesterday morning, after an illness of about three weeks. She was before her marriage Miss Kate Semple of Irisburg, and was married to Mr. Eggleton last fall. Mrs. Eggleton was a daughter of the late Dr. James Semple, and leaves besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. Virginia Semple, of Irisburg; three brothers, Messrs. R. B. Semple of Martinsville; George H. Semple of Alabama and James Semple of Texas, and one sister, Miss Virginia Semple.
She was about 35 years old at the time of her death, and leaves besides the relatives mentioned, a large circle of friends and relations in this county and Danville, by all of whom her untimely death will be greatly regretted.
